rmtly Incorporated

Privacy

What we hold, how long we hold it, and who else can see it.

in effect since 4 October 2026

Where it lives

Every machine that stores or processes your data is owned and operated by us in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

rmtly Incorporated is a Canadian corporation with no parent company. Canadian subsidiaries of foreign companies can be compelled to produce data under the laws of the parent’s country. There is no parent here, so that route does not exist.

Sovereign, here, means both of those things at once: the hardware is in Canada, and so is the company that controls it.

What we hold

Your account info: A name, an email address, the organization you say you are with, and your keys.

Billing: What you owe and what you have paid. Card numbers are handled by the payment processor and never reach us.

Request metadata: For each API call, we store a timestamp, the model, token counts, latency, a status code, and which key made it. Request metadata is kept for 30 days, for support purposes, and then deleted.

Support correspondence: The emails you send us, kept as long as the account plus six months, to help resolve recurring issues.

Server logs: Connection logs from the machines themselves, retained for 7 days.

What we do not hold

Prompts and responses: Requests and responses are not written to disk. They live in memory for the duration of the request and then disappear. We do not offer persistent session state (previous_response_id) support.

This data is not sampled for review and not used to train anything.

Analytics: rmtly Incorporated services, including this website, have no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts.

Any data-sharing arrangement: rmtly Incorporated does not sell, rent, or trade customer data, and has no agreement with any third party to share it.

We will respond to Canadian court orders or warrants that are valid under Canadian law.

If we are compelled to hand something over, we will tell you, unless we are legally barred from doing so. If we are barred, we will tell you as soon as the bar lifts.

We do not store prompts and responses, so we cannot be compelled to provide that.
